My christmas came a day early this year. He new just how I wanted it imagine that .This cue is first rate with out a doubt, Leon said he was stepping it up and when I seen this today in person I could tell . It's a Sly 4 point 4 veneer and the colors santa put in the veneers really makes it pop when you see it in person .It really plays like a demon with the stainless joint with ivory sleeve 3/8x10 pin. It is decked out with ivory ferrules and wizard medium tips. And of coarse my hoppe style that I like so much with the ebony butt ,And last he finished it up with a baby lizard wrap .I must have been really good this year !! And I even caught santa putting the finishing touches on it !!!By the way thanks again Santa !! lol..<<ED

It looks awesome when you look at it, and I got to play with it for a little last night ,This was one of my gifts from santa, Gotta wait till the kids are done to see what else ....LOL.<ED

Very nice looking Sly you got there Ed. The birdseye in the forearm looks really good. I also like the long veneers & colors of the veneers used. The whole cue looks sweet as hell dude. I bet it plays as good as it looks. Congrats to ya & happy holidays as well.

Thanks alot guys, I think Leon did a great job on this for me. The only problem is I know it's Christmas but you all kow how bad I want to get out and play with this baby. I got to play alittle yesterday but not near enough time before they closed. I wish I had room here at the house for a table. If I would haven't of gotten sick I would have built on here and had my game-pool room. But things just don't work out for me the way I plan, except for this it is all I expected and more thanks again Leon ( Santa ) LOL. ! <<ED

I'm interested in the joint. It would seem that an ivory sleeve over a steel joint would give you a hit that is the same as a regular steel joint. How would you describe the hit? But needless to say, that's one great looking cue.I'll bet it really plays as well.
Thanks, in advance

The Ratio: of the stainless and ivory is about 50/50 I Like the ratio: of about 60/40 that is more ivory then stainless if it was up to me i would make all my cue's with this joint.................:yes::happydance:

It's like I said before, I had no idea what to expect when I had my first Sly cue built and I had this joint put in. I asked Leon what he would recommend and he suggested trying this setup. And I am hooked I tell ya, It has the solid feel of the stainless joint but not alot of front end weight. It is a nice crisp solid hit to it. Not a thud or anything like that , I just love the feel of it. And everyone I let play with the cue says the same thing and I left a freind of mine play with mine also and he ordered one that day. Not to mention everytime I walked away from the table he would pick up my cue and start playing with it. So then I had to say NO ! NO ! .. Im sure if you get a chance to play with one for a while you will see what I mean <<<ED

Nice!!

Wow - what can I say! A top notch cue for two top notch guys - Ed & Leon...... good people here! :) Congrats Ed and Leon, you've done it again!!!!!!!!!! :) You can never go wrong with a Sly!!

great looking cue.

but as a side note, is it just me or does "santa" look like stan van gundy (orlando magic coach) or ron jeremy (living legend).
