Me too also The candied nuts aroma is certainly more tolerable without the cigarette smoke mixed in but if the nut folks were gone next year I wouldn't miss them at all. I also noticed that the nut people were allowed to have their stand protrude well into the middle of the hall walkway so that people were forced to reckon with the candied nuts!

Its probably only a matter of time before the fudge vendors show up at DCC!

The vendors in the hallway that sell those sweet nuts. I know they are good vendors and do a very good business there and are good customers of Greg Sullivan.
I just get tired of the extra sweet aroma at all times even though I realize that is what gets them the business.
It also raises the temperature by the stand (in the hallway) about 10 degrees.
This is no biggie - just a pet peeve of mine.

I quit smoking on 12-22-04. I was very pleased to see that is was a non smoking tournament. It's really amazing how bad it smells after you quit.
