The wildcard spots have been announced

To help out the non mathmaticians in Justin's example even if he lost 3-4 sets the games won are 16-17 so it's pretty close and come on can u judge players by a few races to 5? I mean u can judge a player by their body of work over years of tournaments and gambling matches but to judge tow players by how they did in one match or a few short sets is pretty ridiculous.

That being said Good Luck Justin def routing for u and hope the Americans can pull this one out!!!!

Fact - Mosconi Cup all matches are short 9-Ball races! My observation is that this ramps up the pressure in every game and magnifies errors and rewards good play. It's all about who handles that pressure the best. Over the last seven years the European squads have stepped up under pressure and the USA teams have not. That's the reality and you can spin it any way you want.

Hey, Team USA won the Ryder Cup this year so anything is possible if you get your mind right. I have my own ideas about how to do that but it will not be placed on a public forum. I would someday like the opportunity to lead the USA team. I'm pretty sure i can bring out the best in each player. I will only say this. My approach would be different from what we've seen over the last decade.

I do have a history of being involved with winning players, beginning with Ronnie Allen and Keith McCready to Danny Diliberto, Bob Hunter, Chris MacDonald, Tang Hoa, John Schmidt, Warren Kiamco and Dennis Orcollo. These are all very good players and what's important is what you say to them to bring out their best pool. It has little or nothing to do with coaching them on how to play the game. They already know how to do that! I will leave you with this one thought - sometimes less coaching is better than more coaching.

Win 17-16 but lose 3 out of 4 matches is like winning the popular vote but losing electoral vote :D

Spot on, Jay
I believe that is one reason why Johann is so successful with Team Euro- focusing on mental/psy aspects to bring out their best and leaving alone the technical aspects
:D
