To me it makes perfect sence to allow 1 womens grandmaster per womens master team.There is no womens grandmaster team event since there would not be enough participation.

Some1 stated that Ally played in the womens open team event,this cannot be true can it?That would be ubsurd.

Also we know that the bartable is the great equalizer. Amature womens masters players as well as amature women who have the grandmaster designation can compete with the pro women on the BB.

I'm not sure if Allison Fisher played in the singles, but there may have been some confusion on whether she played in the Women's Open Team event, which she didn't, because one of the girls on my team (KOD) is named Alison Fischer ....

Our finals match lasted til 2 am. WE WON!!!!! 21-10.
The team from Illinios is a very strong team. And a great bunch of ladys. My team consisted of Cindy Doty,Jackie Fitchner,Mary Hopkin,Liz Cole, and myself. We have been playing together for 3 years, and it keeps on getting better and better!!!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PLAYING WITH THESE GIRLS!!!!!
We have all become very good friends, and winning this event with people I care about makes it extra special.
We played for 16 hours on Saturday, which made it a VERY long day.
I definately ran out of steam. My team mates held me up and played fantastic!!!!! My contribution was minimal,(in the finals) without going into a long story. I did win a hill/hill match for 3rd/4th to keep us alive.
My time in Vegas is something I will remember for a long time.
I HAD A BLAST!!!:thumbup:
(and winning the event wasnt too bad either)
Whenever you win an event with the talent that was in this division, it feels extra special because a number of teams could of won this event. It just happened to be us this year.
Thanks for the support SJM, and it was very nice meeting you.

Sidenote: I finally met Trigger!!!! She is a sweetheart. We didnt get time to hang out due to our tournament schedule, but I did see her play.(She plays very well. I was definately very impressed!!!!)
Melinda, sorry we didnt spend any time just hanging out. For sure next year.

Congrats on your win! I must have been right next to you b/c I was there supporting my NY Dolls when they played your team -- I don't know how we missed eachother!!

Everyone needs to go to Vegas with shirts that have their AZ name or avatar advertised!! lol

Tony Robles congratulated each one of us individually after we played the NY Dolls. He put out his hand to me and gave me this gorgeous smile. Wow, I almost fainted. LOL (what a good looking man, and VERY charming) You NY girls sure are lucky.
Congratulations to you too girl!!!!! We will have to make it a point to meet next year.

Wanted to compliment you on your blog........you seem to have really hit the nail on the head with your writing. The team/captain thing and the pool-world relationship thing...............right on target!!

Our world is a funny one, and when you are able to express your thoughts about it and someone can understand it, it is a nice feeling. Also a nice feeling to read someone's thoughts that mimic your own. Very few of us have the ability to put that in words. So, thank you for that!
