Before last night's session I thought let's try one of Her Majesties on the correct score and gave it to Europe 11-9 then headed into match bets and I don't follow Pool like I used to do but I know who's who and what they can do and called the matches but the stack was low so the stakes were low and you need a lot of Her Majesties to profit big from this game .

So a fly lands on the q ball and they stop the clock for Jason Shaw.... Jeremy Jones maybe has a hair on the ball And they don't stop the clock.... What if there's a booger on the ball....whats the rule? We need more rules for all the different objects that could possibly land on the cueball

Tough luck on the Mosconi
cup this year... Time to think about better preparation for next year.... do any of you play fantasy sports? I feel we need to pick the team using the year rankings or tournament wins.need high ceiling I feel. Instead of going off a hunch that a guy might play good ...we We need actual ranking system Tournament wins or stats Like picking a football team.

Yeah well it might've been a different result if Earl 'the Pearl' Strickland didn't have to quarantine and who know's that might've been Earl's last chance at The Mosconi Cup .

For those that were asking about what Earl got for the Mosconi Cup... when I went to the exhibition yesterday he said he got $7500 from the US players. He said it was Shane VanBoening that arranged it and that Shane is one of the most honest, stand-up guys you could meet

Yes SVB is a class act, he’s cheap af sometimes and other times he’s wide open. He does what suits him. I respect that.

I know him personally very well for 15 years now, geez wasn’t he the “new kid” recently? Man time flys. I will never put any of his “biz” in the street. But I’ll say Shane has used good judgment and been very smart(mostly) with his earnings.

Shane will do what’s right when it matters. He is honorable.

That was a great gesture by team USA and one can only imagine how Earl was feeling back in the hotel room self isolating when The mosconi Cup was happening .

Verdict​

It’s a very tough choice as so many players have arguments for and against, but on this occasion John Higgins just about nicks it.

Higgins didn’t win the World Championship, raised fewer trophies aloft than Trump and Robertson, and some will rightly point to how his record isn’t that dissimilar to that of O’Sullivan.

But in terms of consistency from the start of 2021 all the way to its conclusion, Higgins was probably number one, while his annihilation of the strong Players Championship field unequivocally stands out as the performance of the year.

The 46 year-old has dedicated himself with a new fitness regime in order to get the most out of the end of his career, so for all those reasons he represents the snooker player of the year for 2021.

Mark Selby won The World Championship title and ended the year as World Number 1 so they will vote for Mark Selby .

It was one of the worst beats I’ve ever seen in pool. I was 🤢. You never will see anyone ever play as hard as Earl would have there in the UK, never anyone ever. Not a million $ session would bring out what that would have in Earl.

I hope he gets called next year, sadly it won’t be in the UK.
