Odd thing is, after losing to Selby the next year, he’s only made it once as far as the quarter finals..Last year knocked out in the first round to an unranked player.

Little chance he’ll emerge from this hiatus in good form. Trump,Wilson, Dung,Selby, etc. are likely putting in 6 hours days at the table. Cant see Ronnie, Williams or Higgins doing this. Hawkins is a work horse ,likely puts in 8 hours.

The form book flew out of the window when the Lock Down happened but if I had a bet it was Judd V Neil in the final .

Come to think of it I put an outrageous bet on Thepchaiya Un-Nooh last year at outrageous odds , it's not on a betting slip , it's through my sons betting account .

The last 3 years, I’ve picked Selby vs Robertson. Both, along with O'Sullivan as good as anyone when at their best. Murphy and Bingham are also ‘up there’ when on their game.

Next year has To be Trump vs ‘somebody’. I’ll go wIth Robertson again. Selby is just lacking something. Ding seems done. Yan will be crazy good if he keeps progressing. Yan might be a permanent fixture in the top 10.

But...there is his guy called ‘John Higgins’ who never goes away.

It all comes down to the stroke of a pen.....

I like to go outrageous with a long range Anti Post bet sometimes and I thought maybe Thepchaiya Un-Nooh is worth a bet and he has all the talent to win big Tournaments one day .

Judd Trump V Neil Robertson .

Now that would've made a Fantastic final but who know what will happen when the season resumes .
