Cathy will be hosting another tournament, Dustin Dunhams mom. Who is a great person and tournament director on Saturday 4/10/10. The tournament will start at Noon. With a player auction AKA calcutta.
Handicap is set at a limit of 11. A 7 plus a 4 or a 5 and a 6. Imagine the possibilities.

This will be a $175 added event plus is limited to 16 teams @ $40 bucks per team with places $815 in the pot. Plus the auction. If you are not a current APA player, then you are out like me and Dustin since we play Missouri 8 ball.

This will be a Scotch Doubles Event with 1 coach permitted per game.
Alternate shot, piggy back, WINNER BREAK.
Winners bracket will be a race to 4
Losers bracket will be a race to 3

Check out the internet for exact location and phone number. I advise sign up in advance, every tourney Cathy runs fills up and players are LEFT OUT.
One day event.
Tournament payouts TBD but most likely will be 1/4 of the field.

Since I cannot play, I will be in Millersburg at the 8 ball event.

THIS TOURNEY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR APA MEMBERS.

If you are an active APA player, you have to consider this event.

$40 bucks.

If you do play in the APA, here is your chance to win some money without going to Vegas. Cathy said that even people who played LAST session are eligible. Give her a call for eligibility. :eek::eek:

This tourney will give you APA players a chance to make hundreds of dollars which short of winning in Vegas is you best shot at the cash.:)

Cathy runs a get tourny and with 3 tables it will run quickly.
 
Hopefully next doubles tourney will be MO 8 ball

Not much missouri 8 ball in Union but we had 64 teams last weekend at Teachers, mid session doubles tournament played locally.
Buddy Evans and his son won the $1000 1st place.

This tournament will only have 16 teams but will pay about 500 with the player auction for 1st, definitely worth it for APA players since you do not get a chance to win much money anyway.:sorry:

This event will start in less than 24 hours. Only local action for APA players is a Team Captain tourney. It will not pay what 4th place pays in this event, so get a partner.:wink::wink:

They open at 5 and lots of APA players hang out there.

I would play but it has been a year since I played in the APA.
