The negativity you see, and feel is real, and it's not only here on this forum, but everywhere else, as well.
The political climate we find ourselves wrapped up in these days has taken it's toll at the work place, in homes and among family members, as well as social gatherings such as this website. There is enormous pressure from all sides.
Come next Tuesday we all hope that an end will come, but the painful reality is that something far worse may be beginning.
Our best bet is to: "Keep a stiff upper lip.", as our cousins from across the pond would say, and maybe share a joke, or two.
Try this: I called our local radio station and asked if they took requests. The DJ said that they did.
I said it was me and my girlfriends first anniversary, and for a present she had bought me a penile implant and I wanted to know if you'd play, "Pappa's Got a Brand New Bag." :grin-square:

This thread was made as a joke. Mostly out of boredom yesterday. It was never meant to be serious. Some of the stuff I said though was a little over the top so I took it down because I realized that 99% of the people reading wouldn't even know I was just playing.
