I own both DVDs, have used CTE Pro one for a year or so, and have come to the conclusion it works, but there is more than 1 way to skin a cat.

No argument with that statement. Didn't understand the brainwashed statement. If you ever met Stevie, brainwashed wouldn't be a word you'd ever use to describe him.
Maybe, but the way people go about preaching CTE comes across as brainwashed. Don't get me wrong, people love it, but I draw the lone at saying its the best thing since sliced bread and there is no other way to aim.
Please copy and paste posts made by anyone saying there is no other way to aim. They may say It's the best way they've found to aim for themselves but that's it. Now you're making stuff up and lying.

Nobody is brainwashed. Either they've worked hard enough to get it or they haven't. If they haven't everyone just moves on.
You come across as Piers Morgan more times than enough. That jerk got kicked out of his own country and then came here where some bigger jerk from CNN gave him the spot on TV that Larry King had before retiring. Morgan then proceeded to tell Americans how wrong this country is about our own Constitution, gun laws, and everything else and we needed to change all of it based on his own beliefs and agenda. Now he's gone from CNN and it couldn't be better.
If pool players want to use CTE and talk their success up, who are YOU to keep harping on them otherwise? A relative of Piers Morgan or just a wannabe?
With having this knowledge to make anything work and I choose CTE. Why would you think that is? I'm curious to know from an outsider what some might think my agenda ( for the lack of a better word ) is in promoting CTE.
Your friends might ought to spend some time and practice the lessons in the DVD instead of what I have heard and seen others do by just watching the DVD and go to a table and throw balls out and try and use it. Doesn't work that way for anyone. I had to do it too! No shortcuts!
The questions you speak of are common in anything that is new to us as humans. We are skeptical of everything! Especially when we aren't the ones who created what ever it might be. I was no different in that aspect when I first started using CTE because of the knowledge I had. Not the case anymore nor will it ever be again.

I am not perfect and never said I was. Although, I feel I do know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to pool and what players need to improve. Not to say I'm still not able to learn more but I am 110% sure of CTE and what it will do for pool players and the sport. Stan is the man!

On top of that, just saying that, CTE folks only say it's just the "best for them"? Must be all of that modesty they've got going for them.
Why did Moore seem to get worse after CTE? That would be a good place to start out. We can even skip why others haven't gotten any better even though they're self-professed experts on it here. You yourself have been touting it for years. How's the pro circuit treating you?
Dave -- I don't know whether Pidge is or was a "pro." But here's something he posted about 5 months ago regarding his skill level in 14.1 and snooker: "I've ran 150 plus tens of times but have only made a 147 12 times. And i play snooker probably 5 times as much as i play pool."
The "150 plus" refers to 14.1. So I'd say he is highly skilled.
You should try, just once, to post something that adds to a thread. You don't like CTE, why not just ignore the threads? Would you like to play Stevie for $1,000 even up? Your hateful, bitter attitude speaks volumes about your success in life. I feel sorry for you.
Sounds like something I'd really like to see on video. It shouldn't be too difficult to do for someone that accomplished, don't you agree? It would be very entertaining as well as instructive in the nuances of proper 14.1 strategy. Do it Pidge.
Here's what I think, SEEING IS BELIEVING. Stan has not only made an instructional video explaining every aspect of what to see and how to pivot in the manual portion of CTE and then made an unbelievable number of youtube videos proving and explaining questions that users needed answers for in their progression with the system. Gerry Williams has posted a great number of shotmaking videos with every cut angle possible while calling out the visuals before stroking the shot. Ekkes made a video explaining the SEE System, Ron Vitello made a video for 90/90, Joe Tucker has the most comprehensive video and system for Contact Point aiming, and CJ Wiley has videos illustrating his aiming system as well as the use of TOI.
If anybody who doesn't believe in CTE at all or doesn't think it works as prescribed should make a similar video with shots set up by either Stan or Gerry or Colin Colenso's shotmaking skill test and call out the visuals of CTE as they understand it. If done correctly and the shot is still missed, they can illustrate why there's a breakdown in the method and explain why it doesn't work as stated. Or, Stan can point out what they might be doing incorrectly and suggest a change. But this ongoing and constant verbal harangue in threads and posts is old and proves nothing. SEEING IS BELIEVING. Put it on VIDEO.
NOBODY who uses CTE as their primary aiming system is opposed to other aiming systems or methods of alignment, NOBODY. Which means if the individual chooses to do Gerry's setup for potting or Colin's setup with ANY OTHER METHOD and explain their every visual observation to lock onto whatever they deem important to make the shot and show why it's also an effective way of aiming, they should and be valuable to everyone. There is nothing wrong with variety and expanded knowledge. Knocking or badmouthing without proof solves nothing. I've done a video with Colin's potting test using CTE which wasn't that big a deal so anybody can do it for ANY system. All methods are WELCOME. There's a huge difference between TLAR (that looks about right) as opposed to TLER (that looks exactly right).. The difference of either making a higher percentage or missing a higher percentage. (who is going to be the first to say videos prove nothing?)
