It has been one of those days, I started with a nice purpleheart front with ebony points with 2 veneers, ony one point only got one !! After that it was destined to become a J/B for myself. Today I went to seal the handle/butt sleeve area only I had it screwed together !! Well the cyno went over the "A-Joint" and now its stuck like a welded peice of metal. Now Im sitting here with soe cyno release and Alot of armstrong, wish me luck !

P.S never work on your cues when you are so tired you cant remember your name, bad things will happen. Get some sleep and start fresh !

Goto a model shop that sells Nitro Methane for those who mix their own fuel.
It is a solvent for most Cyano type glues.
Do not get the fuel with nitro methane in it.The fuel will have %18 or more oil in it.

Dang, I never priced the stuff before. I use this every night at work along with MEK and other solvents. We have a tank farm with two 40000 gallon tanks full.

The first time I came into contact with MEK was when I was 17 working in a glue factory in 1970. One of the big vats had overheated and there was gallons of glue semi solidfied all over the floor. They sent me in with a big plastic bucket of MEK, a mop and a plastic shovel to clean the floor. No mask just some rubber gloves, I lasted about 2 hours in that room and went to the boss and gave him a piece of my mind and quit. That stuff will kill you, I was floating as I left that day!

When I was still turning wrenches on airplanes, a coworker told me a horror story. A contractor they hired was assigned to clean the belly of the airplane they were working on. He walked on with a pressure tank and proceeded to hose everything with MEK. Everyone working in the plane evacuated the area. He was fired on the spot. We use toluene (maybe comparably nasty as MEK) to clean molds where I work now. They treat that stuff like it is water. My manager ordered some gloves for me, per my request.
