I've been hearing alot of good reviews about this thing. I am curious about what it is supposed to correct? Does it help alignment, and does it straighten your stroke? Thanks

I think you will be impressed. It helps both, but I also think if you are a seasoned player this is a great tool to get you to your stroke fast before play. Just by using it for a few minutes before you play or practice, you immediatly self-adjust yourself to fit into your stroke. Nothing worse than not being able to figure out what is wrong. Who cares what people think, just throw it on your cue when you first start hitting balls.

3rd eye

It is a great tool for stroke training!! Aids in insuring direct center ball hit!!

You can't go wrong for the price either. Another fine product from Joe Tucker

I'll be picking one up in the future.

LastTwo,
Did you check out http://www.joetucker.net
Joe had some nice videos of the stroke trainer in action. Not sure if they are still up or not. He's got me sold on giving it a try.

i got one a couple weeks ago. I think its a fine idea, and the price is right. I mostly bought it after watching tuckers video explaining how dead center on the ball and what you perceive as dead center on the ball might look different. But when i shot with it on my stick, it appears i was seeing everything as it should be, so really it just gave me peice of mind.

I thought the last time you asked about hitting the cue ball correctly that not only did you not like my idea of going up and down the table, but that you saw the third eye, could tell how it worked, and this would be the thing for you!!!!!!

It's only $14.95 plus shipping. What are you waiting for you cheapskate? I ordered one myself. I'll be d*amned if I will tell you how it worked though :D since you are such a know-it-all.

I already ordered one, I'm just looking at results other people have had with it, you psychotic oompa loompa :D

Well, in that case numbnuts, just be careful when you put the thing together. Mine broke into and I had to rig it back together. Didn't have a chance to listen to the CD as my drive just broke.

It didn't do squat for me, or at least every time the sides of the device never touched my cue ball. My stroke was already straight, as another poster said.

One other thing, it didn't fit my 12.5mm shaft. Just slid right off. It barely fit onto my 12.75 shaft, but slid forward due to my powerful sroke :D .

I think one would be better off buying something with quality, such as the 'batman' bridge, and rigging two pieces coming out and forward.

You have some legitimate complaints there so let me tell you what you can do about it.
First off when you do get a chance to watch the DVD you’ll see that I offer free replacements to anyone that breaks theirs. That material was very brittle and is why I have now switched to a better plastic material which is much softer and more flexible. The 3rd Eye Stroke Trainer will now fit onto ferrules of 11mm-14mm without a problem and anybody that has already purchased one and would like to exchange or replace theirs can do so by sending me the old one; Joe Tucker, PO Box 7252, Warwick RI 02886

As for the not doing squat issue;
I think if you do watch the video not only will you gain some knowledge, find a use for the 3rd Eye in your own game but you’ll most likely be able to help some other players out also, if you’re the sharing kind.

Sorry for your bad experience, it’s not the first one that broke but you are definitely the first to talk so negatively about it.

Good luck rigging up the Bat Bridge.

Joe explains very thoroughly in his video what to do if you use a thin shaft. I doubt your stroke is already straight. How can an oompa loompa have a straight stroke?
