This cue is wrapless player that has some very nice wood in it, bubinga and curly maple. These cues play great and is balanced very well too. That is a nice wood combo, and this cue in particular makes nice, subtle use of the crown pattern Gene does in the butt sleeve. With the flat face wood collar & joint, I bet it has a real meaty, mellow hit.
 
This cue is nice, it is made for my former partner in OTR and he has yet to pick it up, hope he does not mind having some chalk on the tip because I am eager to hit with it. :)

I did not get to hit with it and gave it to Steve on Sunday, plan to hit with it next time I see him. :smile:
