UMM MR Cory Barnhart........................... His work is really clean and his cues hit very very well.

Ain't it cool how with some cuemakers' cues you can spot them from across a room just by the ring work alone?! :D

Cory Barnhardt.

Like everyone else said. The rings are a DEAD giveaway.

And the points go up. You can tell because that's where the joint is. :D

The only thing I dont like about his ringwork is that he doesnt do the same ringwork on the shafts and at the joint. I think its because there is not enough room around those areas. I still like them..... I just want to see what they look like down to scale around the joint and on the shafts.

Ditto. I have the same complaints about a lot of the Olney's I've seen...

It's still a very sharp cue. The point work is very impressive.

That is the problem

The problem is probably scale...I agree the ringwork that appears in the butt should be at the joint.

re: rings

I'd imagine he could fit 5 around the joint instead of 10 like in the other rings
but that would look nice, indexed with the high points. His cues look better
and better.

I think these is a very beatiful cue and I like the forearm a lot but I don't think that the butt matches the cue so much, I think that you either need some inlays in the points in the forearm or a plain Ebony butt with the ringwork to match the points. The points are too black to match the butt of the cue, these is the feeling I get when I look at the whole cue.
The cue looks to me like it need something more or that it has a little too much..
PS I really really like the points on that cue..
Just my 2 cents.
