Planet 9-Ball in Tampa has been SOLD. They are closed today and will re-open tomorrow with new owners.
I understand that scheduled tournaments and Leagues will continue. I'm told that the music will be changed from hip-hop to 80's Rock.

A 30 year old fellow named Ryan and his wife. They currently own O'Riley's Irish Pub in Ybor City (pronounced E-bore) above The Green Iguana.

Will you be tournament director for any of the tournaments or you going out with the dish water?

is kenny ok?
 
To answer two or three poster's questions. Kenny is fine and although he enjoyed his 10 years as room owner, he will be enjoying this new phase of his life even more.
Planet 9-Ball was owned by Kenny & Richie Powell. Kenny bought Richie out a few years before Richie passed away.
I stopped being TD about a month before Kenny discontinued the monthly tournaments.
Changing the music from hip-hop certainly won't hurt anything.... imo
Longtime employees are being encouraged to fill out new applications with the new owners.
Pool is alive and well in the Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, West Central Florida area and I hear that one or two new rooms may open soon to our near northwest county.
