There can be deals on ebay, and considering that alot of people sell stuff in bulk for lower prices, it can be easier to get a deal online, rather than your hometown. Granted alot of ebay is junk, there is alot of good stuff.
 
EBAY, many good deals for the cautious consumer!

Piga, I must disagree with you as well. 99% of my transactions on ebay have been very good deals! There are a few bad apples but if you buy cautiously from sellers that have a lot of Positive feedback, (I never buy from a new seller...too risky) your chances of getting a honest transaction are very good.

Am I sounding like the old guy on the porch?! Didn't mean to, but honestly, everything gets bid up to it's true value. If you think I mean retail, you're off (and keep saving!).
