I was watching the 2006 14.1 Dragon World Tournament between Thorsten Hohmann and Thomas Engert, and wondered what became of Mr. Engert. Isn't he the one that reportedly ran 491 balls on a 9 footer? Appreciate any info.

Running 13 racks of 8 ball in practice is pretty impressive too.

Different guy. The guy that ran 491 is Thomas Engert.

Thomas Engert stopped playing as a Pro some years ago.
He was the owner/coowner of a poolhall in Düren (near Aachen) but I think the hall closed last year.
He is still playing some billard for his team PBC Düren in a minor league in Germany.
