I was watching a DVD yesterday of this years WPM. Engert was playing Ortman. I noticed that Engert was using the same old Mcdermott I saw him shooting with at least 10 years ago. Makes me wonder if other players have used the same cue for as long or longer. For instance, I know Morris isn't using it now but didn't he play with a Szamboti for a long time?
I would think its probably more likely that the older players hung on to favorite or custom made cues for longer than the players today. There being so many more cue makers and all, but who do you know thats always played with the same cue?
