Thoughts on Sugartree

ohhhh man

i didnt know it had the ivory also... dammit now i want it realllly bad.. who owns it now...

If anyone out there is on his list, what is the estimated wait time to get one direct?

Hi Lenny, That was my cue. I was the first owner of the Hickory Burl and African Blackwood beauty. Here is my favorite pic of that cue:

IMHO, your new cue hits better. The cue that you have has Eric's newer ferrule material which produces a much better hit. Don't get me wrong, this cue plays great. The only reason I sold this cue was to get the cue in my avatar. It is currently the biggest cue Eric has made to date.

The material you are referring to is 2500 year old fossilized Walrus ivory. Yes, this cue has it as well as your new one. They were made in the same batch of cues. The same can be said for the razor wire ringwork.

Be on the lookout for my new cue direct from Eric. It will have this ivory and ringwork as well.

I love this cue! No way could I sell it! Mike

This may just be Erics greatest work IMO, WOW...

ST cues

They are one of the best looking and playing cues you will find anywhere.

You guys are just a bunch of nut huggers!!!! :yeah:

Seriously, it's great to see everyone enjoying their Sugartree cues. Eric's reputation is well deserved. I'm so lucky to be able to work great cuemakers like Eric, Travis Niklich, Andy Gilbert, Ron Haley, Tony Zinzola, and Dave Barenbrugge. These guys are so passionate about their craft and great people in general.

Also, thanks to all my Sugartree customers.

This is what its all about!

I would love to add an ebony or african blackwood nose plain jane and ebony nose 8 pointer each to my Sugar Tree collection.

I have an Ebony nosed 8 pointer with Bocote points and handle that is with Eric right now. If you are truly serious, let me know. Either way, it will be for sale as soon as he ships it to me.
