Thoughts on the Samsara bar cue

Call Jim

A person asked me the other day about the Samsara bar cue. Seeing as I have never even seen one up close, maybe someone here can help him out?:)

His questions were
1. Are these of the same quality as a plain Jane custom, or more like a production cue in terms of quality?

2. Does the cue hit stiff or soft?

3. What size of pin is used? Is it a standard type pin of it's size or is it some kind of different pitch?

4. Does anyone have any other info that might influence his buying decision (he is considering several different options), but the Samsara is the only one he hasn't gotten any info on?

Give Jim a call at Samsara in Rugby. I have spent time at his shop, as he knows some of my family and I bought a Break/jump cue, and he is a great guy, and makes a great product. The other person you might talk to is Mike Fieldhammer, I don't know how much he is on her you can pm him, Fieldhammer, or go to Billiardcoach.com it is his forum and ask him

I had one of the Bar Cues, I emailed Samsara before getting it. They said the construction and woods used are the same as their other cues but it only comes with one shaft and of course the obvious decoration differences.

I did not like the shafts at all on it, too whippy, like a Meucci shaft. With the stock shaft it had a soft hit. The biggest issue I had was with the shaft, very hard to control spin.
