thread size for s/s joint

can anyone tell me what size the thread is in a stainless steel joint ring ,can i get a tenon threader for this, and is it the same thread for other materials, paul

If you mean joint collar they're either 5/8 x 11 or 5/8 x18 and yes you can get tenon threaders for these like you can for ferrules...

You would probably be better off to grind the threads with a router setup. (much more flexible and useful if you can go that route) 5/8-11 is the most common size, from what I've seen.

If you're going to thread on your buttcaps use 3/4 x 10 thread size...

They are plain old everyday standard SAE .625 UNC and .625 UNF threads.
