Took my old A. E. Schmidt out for a stroll today.

Had it made in 1973 and it still plays damn good.

Nice - I didn’t know AE Schmidt made cues. It makes sense, but I’ve never actually seen one.

It was made by Lloyd Bennett, who worked at their company in St.Louis. He made pool tables, he turned ivory cue balls, and he made cues.

After he retired, he was paid to travel all over the world to work on all the tables in the Dave and Buster establishments. I think all of them used A. E. Schmidt tables.
