The 9 Ball tournament we just had featured only 8 players but I was pretty happy with every other aspect of the event. Neils Feijen won the tournament and, as it happened, had three extra days that he spent with us.
I worked out with him at straight pool, two games to 150 points, the tables with four inch pockets. I was beaten decisively. He is really playing well, all the games. Although he has only been playing One Pocket for a little over a year, he will quickly be a force to reckon with at that difficult discipline.
In short it has been a genuine honor to have him hanging out at our room. Our customers were delighted with his visit and he even was nice enough to play a few games with our "Miss Dawn", who was properly dazzled. Randi downloaded a picture of Neils and he signed it for us. It will soon occupy a position of honor on our wall.
