See how they run. I guess one could say that I am partial to Ebony cues. Small player collection, Zylr, Bluegrass and Prewitt, all great hitters. Enjoy.

Nice and elegant cues. Great collection. :)

Which one plays the best is my question, I have a solid ebony cue that nothing has come close to!!!

Thanks for the input, everyone. I thought the wrap was ostrich leg as well, but I spoke with Kerry at length, and if he did the wrap, he says he does not use any ostrich because it has holes in it. If he did that wrap originally, he says it is embossed pigskin. The Buckhorn to Buckhorn joint feels different than anything I have every experienced. All three cues have unique personalities, the joints all being different. I really like them all. The Zylr is .8 oz heavier than the others and hits very very hard.

Pauly-

I love the hit of ebony as well, especially when it is not cored. I don't think any of these cues are cored. I will be working with the Zylr for a couple of weeks now, as I just got that cue and want to play with it for a while. They all hit great, hard to say which is best.

Thanks,

It's ostrich leg, and that cue does play nice!!!!

Hey Snowmon-

Did you own this cue? Could you give me details on the wrap?

Thanks a lot-

Agreed

I used to own the Zylr. The cue was a monster. What do you think of it?

Shane-

This cue is unlike anything else I have hit so far. It is an ounce heavier than I am used to, but the buckhorn joint feels very different that wood or ivory. The thing hits like a one piece cue. It is taking some getting used to, but if I let the cue do the work, I am fine. I have made some shots over the last three weeks that were hard for me to believe. It's not the cue, though, right?

Yes I did own the cue at one time, and it was sold to me as a black ostrich leg wrap......I really liked the hit of the cue, and I'm on the look out for another Zylr.....
