Three rail position shots?

Wish i could do that!! 🥵🥵
The full story is that Shane walked up to that table and made that shot on his first attempt. He was walking away as the shot was still going. This kid decided to re-create the shot.

I tried this on my table and I got the first ball, the draw off of the next three rails but did not have the speed to get to the last corner. (Not on my first try)

New(er) cloth probably will help a lot there.

If “I” shoot for 3-rail position, it is the BEST shot for ME.

I wouldn’t shoot it if I felt more comfortable with something else.

It may not be the best shot for others.

I don't know how many times I've hit the cue ball with stun, slow rolled, tried to spin a ball in to hold my cue ball, or cheat the pocket to hold my cue ball, only to end up regretting it. Even missing the ball.

More often than not it's just easier to go one rail, come out two rails or three rails. Go down to the end of the table come back.

There is no hard fast rules, you make these decisions at the table depending on how you feel. Plus tables can play differently and that can be a factor.

On really fast cloth going multiple rails is often easier/safer that killing it. Also you are able to come towards your next ball easier as opposed to crossing it. All depends on the shot.
