Tibbitts cue> before and after

I sent this back to Danny to have it dressed up. This is what he came up with and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Any ideas for a leather or lizard wrap??.
For those who don't know a Tibbitts cue is very hard to get. He's made less than 100 cues in the last 25 years and I consider myself pretty lucky indeed to have one :)

Tommy,

That wrap is authentic Cortland. Get it a little dirty before cutting it off.

i like the linen wrap, i'm board with treandy leather wraps:boring2:

I'm with you...that is Cortland wrap on that puppy....why on earth would someone want to remove that?!

I would not change the wrap on this cue....especially if it is the original wrap. There are folks who would give their eye teeth to be able to get a white with green speck Cortland linen wrap on their cue.

I was going to say change the wrap to a white/brown spec, but after reading that it's Cortland, I also say don't touch it.

Very nice cue BTW.

Tommy, that turned out NICE !! Amazing how that little bit of extra work Danny did really stepped up the overall look of the cue. Personally, I agree with the others....would probably leave the wrap alone....or stay with a similar look with white/brown spot linen. The snakewood points are so long in the prong that if you go with a dark wrap like brown leather or lizard, it might make the overall look of the cue a little out of balance with the butt sleeve. Just my $0.02. Enjoy the cue....it's a beauty.

Thanks for all your opinions on the wrap. I agree that I'd be better off leaving the wrap alone. Danny makes such a solid hitting cue that it's a pleasure to pocket balls, and the wrap does have a nice feel to it.
