Congratulations to Tiffany Nelson who won the Maryland State 9 Ball Championships undefeated against Kim Shaw 9 -4.

No surprise here. Tiffany Nelson is playing the best pool of her life right now.

I just want to go on board here and state that I won my bet for Tiffany winning the whole enchilada! (And it wasn't v-cash) And hey! Gremlin was there and he was just a great guy! I bet he has even more pics to post!

Thanks Rich R and Cathy!

Rich ~ Excellent Pictures!
It's way past my bedtime, otherwise I would've remembered... when I was looking through them I made a mental note to thank Rich for the pics but by the time I finished reading the rest of the thread, I forgot when I made my post  Thank you Rich, and thank you Eydie. ;)

I'm happy you all like the pictures. I wish I had more pictures, of the other players, but, because of circumstances beyond my control, I arrived quite late and only caught the last couple of matches. :(

Rich, great pictures as always. This pool room provides a nice venue, too, one of them being plenty of light!

Looking forward to seeing y'all at the Open. Can you believe that it is NEXT WEEK!? I'm getting the U.S. Open jitters.

Here's a snapshot of an old-school campaigner and one of the new kids on the block, Ms. Pamela Treadway, taken earlier this year in Hagerstown, Maryland! It is wonderful that, in addition to her fourth-place finish, she won the WPBA qualifier. :)

Which tournament on the WPBA tour is the qualifier for?

Who won the Q'er spot?

Tiffany Nelson defeated Kim Shaw in the finals, and Sueyen Rhee came in third place. Pamela Treadway came in fourth place and won 300 bucks and the qualifier, according to a post in the Billiards Digest thread depicted in the above-referenced link.

JAM,

Pamela's Q is for the WPBA US Open. The only way you can win a Q for the US Open is through a State Championship.

And I still have my NY event October 1st and 2nd, and that's a double Qualifier!

I don't know Pam but ive seen her a few times and that picture is the closest thing i've seen to a smile on her and it isnt that close.

When she sits while her opponent is shooting, she has an Elvis type sneer on her face.

She plays the smartest of any 'kid' i have seen though on Saturday her execution on safes was poor.
