anyone know what weight bolt I can use on a Tiger tg12 cue? I have a like new cue i got on a trade but it is light, 17oz or so, id like to make it 19oz. any help would be apprecaited. the only one i can find is on their main page bujt it cost $45
They have the weight bolts on their site (1 oz., $5.95). I suppose those would fit, wouldn;t they? You might want to send them an email to make sure they fit the cue you have.
2 ounces additional in the butt of the cue is likely to make it butt/tail heavy - which you may not like (or you may).
IMHO it would be better to add 1 ounce in the butt and 1 in the joint (or maybe in the base of the shaft), then the balance will be retained better.
2 ounces is a LOT of weight and you may be surprised how big a bolt or even a chunk of lead will be.
My 2 cents,
Gary
