Between these three cues which one would you pick and way. I’m looking for a new break cue, and have never tried out the tiger impact, and can’t find any review on them anywhere. The ob and the bk2 seem to be the most popular. Looking for other AZers input on these break cues. thanks

Consider break cues from Mezz, the shafts and all round feel is really solid. I like Tiger shafts, solid stuff aswell so if I would get to choose from these three for a gift I'd go with the Tiger.

There was a really helpful rating system posted on here recently, which had the BK2 way out in front in terms of effectiveness.

IMO, any Mezz break cues can overwhelm those cues in your list. They should be put on top of your list. Any Mezz break cues with a Deep Impact Pro shaft could give you a tremendous start for your game. I exaggerated a bit but mezz cues and shafts do play impressively!

one of my old teammates had one and I didn't care much for it. I didn't like the tip that they have on them. or at least that is what I think was the problem that I didn't like about it. I'm thinking of getting the bk2 sport.

Not the R shaft for sure, it sucks.

Can you share us your experience with that shaft? I am using that shaft and haven't had any problems but great performance.

P/s: Mika Immonen is using that shaft as well

I like my Bk2 sooo much I actually play with.... It's the same deflection as the original 314... I am even using the phenolic tip... viva Kamui chalk.....

Hunter did let me try out his Deep impact mezz awhile back and I have to say either of them get the job done... $$$$ in R&D shows.....

I've tried ob and bk2, both are great, but have settled on the Jacoby Edge break cue. It is a laminated construction cue, transmits power extremely well, and for me, allows better cue ball control. I highly recommend investigating these further prior to making your final selection.

I am quite interested in Jacoby break cue. Wanna try it out to see how it performs against my Mezz DI.

Tiger shaft is too soft......I broke ob ferrule after one month.....I burned bk2 ferrule after one year......Mezz power break usage almost 2 years not banned and no damage on ferrule also sold to my mate 300..lol

My playing cue is Mezz, and so is my jump cue, thus nothing against Mezz in general.
As it happens the R shaft is way too soft and bends way too much, adds nothing to the break.
In fact I rather break with any house cue than the R shaft, I'm not alone on that one.
Cheers.

Pechauer Break Cue is my favorite. I've seen maybe 2 of them for sale on AZB. That should tell you something. They are heavily front weighted for power. Love it.
