Tiger leather cutting blade

A suggestion..

I am no cue maker but I'm an enthusiast, and read as much as possible. I am also a custom knife and steel enthusiast. That brings me to suggest an older style hard steal Japanese carpentry/ plaining type knife. ( forgive if incorrect please). If you buy a high quality one all you must do is sharpen it with a great stone. Doesn't take long and the knife could last forever cutting leather. My two pennies.

Except we cut from the side and need them narrow.

I made my radius thingy for tip trimming and is the best thing I have made for tip trimming. I can dial in the radius required, I can also do offset radius for tips as well, so becomes a hognose type of trim.
