Open Division Format
Starts: Saturday 12 Noon Sharp
Format: Double Elimination, Saturday Races to 7 Both Sides, Sunday Races to 9 on winners and 7 on elimination bracket

Entry Fee: $72 ($52 for Women and Juniors Under 21)

Women's Division Format
Starts: Sunday 11 am Sharp
Format: Double Elimination, Races to 7 and/or 5, depending on table availability
Entry Fee: $60 ($45 for Juniors Under 21)

Membership Fees:
$30 per 12 month period
$15 guest player fee per event
Payout: Approximately 3/8 of field
Points Event? Yes

Player Limitations: Open to all, no limit
Rules: World Standardized Rules of 9 Ball with Tiger Planet Pool Code of Ethics
Dress Code:
No Sweat Pants, No T-shirts (except Planet-Pool or Tiger T-Shirts), No Sports Shorts (Basketball Shorts, Etc.), No Tank Tops, No Excessive Cleavage

ps. Are you guys using that triple shim? That would be weird considering it's the tightest table in the world sitting side by side with the loosest tables in the world.
 
You might be confusing the May 20/21 event which was originally a 9-ball event - I won't be flying back in from Vegas until midnight on the 20th - so we changed that one to an 8-ball event. We prefer to be fully staffed for the 9-ball events, since they can get quite large. The 8-ball events are as much of a logistical nightmare.
You know the rule on table 1 - we try not to use it, but if the field is huge - being on 10 tables vs. 11 makes a big difference in how many matches we can play out. Just remember, you and your opponent are both on the same table.
As for the dress code - we could always change it to "no cleavage" instead of "no excessive cleavage" - be happy, we left a little in there for you! :D

I'm not going to be able to make it to this tourney either. :(

My car acted up this wkend in Philly and I had to leave it. My friends are taking it to a shop this week and I'll go pick it up next weekend. When it rains it pours... I just put a water pump on the darn thing 3 weeks ago!

Two tourney's in a row that I'm missing and I really like Sterling. :(

Like BB said, have fun this wkend. I wish I could be there. :( I'd much rather spend money going to a pool tournament than I would paying a mechanic. :rolleyes:
 
I understand that Pam Treadway and Josh Brothers came away tops of their respective events. Nice showing by both of 'em!

One clap for hometown boy Brandon who had his best event yet, finishing 2nd in the open div.

As far as I know, Josh had never won the open event at a Tiger Planet Pool tournament and now he's won 2 out of the last 3! Way to go Josh!!

Great shooting Brandon, I know you have it in you to finish at the top. ;)

I really wish you could have been there, sorry about your car problems. You haven't been around for a while but i just wanted to let you know that i won that jpnewt qualifier in Jersy to go to the WPBA BCA in Vegas May13th-20th, you should come out with us?
