Tiger Planet Pool 9ball - Cambridge MD $2k add

Matt wins 9-1 to advance to the hot seat match with either Wilkie/Stottlemyer.

Hatch up 2-0

Munoz clawing to stay alive now 3-6

Deska back to 3-4 down.

Brothers wins 7-3 over Munoz.

Holt goes 5-3 ahead of Deska.

Hatch is playing well - now 4-0 Hart who hasn't had much to shoot at.

Wilkie up 5-3 on Brett.

Now Hart has an open table to get going.

Holt looks focused 6-3

Hatch just cut the paint off the 8 ball. 5-0

Hart wins the push/safety exchange but jars the 8 on these tight pockets. 6-1

Brett back to 4-7

Josh Brothers and Sparky Ferrell starting up.

Hatch on an open table 6...7...8...Hart throws in the towel.

Brett now down 5-7

Deska closing at 5-6

Josh starts out 1-0

Holt dogs the 8! Ouch. Ed can get to hill-hill here...wow left himself a long tester on the 9...steady as a rock 6-6!

Brett now at 6-7 - what composure.

Josh at 2-0

Ed breaks in 2 balls and object balls were closing in on the cue ball. But no wait...just enough of a window and he has an open table but will have to navigate to the 4 ball.

6 ball got him on the navigation but he still has a shot.

Josh at 3-0 - the kid's got confidence!

Ed, the wiley veteran played on nice safety on the four.

Shaun looks out.

Ed's safety was not good enough. Holt safed him to opposite ends of the table.

Shaun up 8-6.

Ed made a good hit on the four and got a beautiful result locked up behind the 7.

Sparky got a game now down 1-3.

Holt hits but leaves a long 4 with the cue going to run into the 9. What will happen next?

So it wasn't all that. Ed tried a safety but left things visible but hard.
Lee misses. Ed makes a long 4 ball, should be out.

And he is! Nice comeback for Eddie to win 7-6.

Brett gets another still down 7-8

Josh up 3-2

Shaun should be out here on the 7. Oops! Tight pockets again!

Brett cuts the 7 in nicely and we're headed for hill-hill. Yep. 8-8 now

Sparky now up 4-3, turned that match around.

Hatch/Deska set to go.

5-4 with Josh and Sparky up one.

Brett has to play safe and puts the 1 near the 9. Nice shot. Big decision for Shaun here because the 1-9 looks pretty sweet with bih.

Masse shot got him out of trouble. Brett can't quite see the one but left Shaun long again.

Brett in control now but not open table.

Safeties and now the table's really messy. Brett still in control.

Shaun kicked but scratched. Brett with bih and open table now.
4...5 but funny on the 6. Banked into the corner! 8 and 9 is easy.

Another great comeback win! Brett and Matt in the hot seat.

I'll be taking a short break because unlike Blackballed - I'm not getting time and a half!

We're not going to sue you for taking a break. Updating multiple matches can consume you and you lose track of time and everything else.

Thanks so much for the updates Andy. ;)

JAM

When we last tuned in to our matches...

Sparky came back to beat Josh 7-5 and then gained his revenge over Wilkie from last night.

Dennis Hatch defeated Ed Deska and then Alan Duty both easily.

Matt Clatterbuck played really well and came away with the hot seat 9-4.

Sparky Ferrell and Hatch just finished with Hatch winning 7-1.

So we're down to 3 players: Hatch and Stottlemyer just started with Matt waiting.

The ladies event on the bar tables is winding down to 3 players as well. My-Hanh Lac and Kathleen Lawless are playing for the hot seat with Pamela Treadway steamrolling through the elimination bracket.

That's impossible, it's only 5 pm! You're not supposed to be down to the last 3 for another 3 or 4 hours. :p

This might be the earliest you guys have ever gotten out on a Sun. (since I've been ging to them.) LOL, I guess staying til at least 1:30 this morning instead of closing up shop at 7 or 8 last night might have a lot to do with it. ;)

Dennis Hatch steamrolling is getting the tournament done. Brett and Matt also play quickly.

Hatch defeated Brett in a close 7-5 match.

The final is getting started now.

Kathleen Lawless is in the hot seat of the ladies.

In the finals, Dennis jumped out to a 5-1 lead and then stretched it to 8-2. Not much opportunity for Matt.
