Good Luck Ryan. I hope you do well. Unfortunately, I will be in North Carolina on business, so you won't have to sweat out another hill/hill match against me. Watch out for Mike though, he's been playing well down South and he probably thinks he's going to walk in there and snap this one off.

Ryan, youll definitely be tough to get through.
Unless you get all goofy like last time in Hagerstown!
I gotta take Mike D. as the early favorite though with his recent Florida win.

This tour is plenty tough enough that 2 big guns doesn't make it that much easier...just drumming up business :D

The goofier Ryan acted, the better he did!! That running break thing he had going was hysterical!!

Are ya'll sure Mike is going to be there? Last I saw, he was down in GA

Timberly,

I don't actually know if Mike will be there. I was just going off mapman's post. Looking at the GA brackets, seems like Mike played one pocket but not 8 ball. So maybe he's on his way back? Is there 9 ball on the weekend? I know he loves to play in Hagerstown.

Yes there is a 9 ball tourney also. I could understand him wanting to be back up here for the TPP tourney, but.... with this being a special viking event, there's something like $5 grand added to each tourney. If for nothing else than the chance at a bigger purse, I thought me might hang out down there this weekend. On the other hand, he's been away for awhile & I'm sure there's a short, cute, little brunette that might want to say hello to him. ;)

I also have it from a reliable ;) source that Mike will be coming. Not a problem, the bigger they are, the harder they fall! :D

Not sure if Carl is playing or not. Last time a talked to him he said he wasn't. Only thing is..... he always says that ;) dunno

As usual, they had a pretty good turn out in Hagerstown. I think it was 66 players this time... last time was 71 if I remember correctly. I really enjoy this particular venue as you have a very diverse group of entrants. Hagerstown is so close to PA & W. VA & the DC area that it is a great location IMO. It's the only stop where I see some of the locals from my area here in PA show up. As usual there were quite a few AZB'ers there... Barrett9ball, cuequeen, Beetle (better tourney next time ;) ) black-balled, bluewolf (is that right?), whitewolf. As usual the Tiger Planet Pool team 9ballcc, prinsnick, & alinco. (ya'll know I always forget to mention someone so I'm just going to apologize now if I missed you  ) Enjoyed it as always... looking forward to the next time, which I believe is in Arnold, MD...

updates etc....

I'll update tonight when I get home. Ryan McCreesh is playing lights out having won his first 3 matches by scores of 9-0, 9-0 and a 9-6 win over black-balled. Mike Davis took an uncharacteristic early exit and won't play the final 16 today. BJ Ussery has made is way North and will start Sunday in the winners side. It was a great tournament thus far although mine was a bit shorter than I like. Sometimes ya just don't get any rolls for a extended periods of time :D It was my first oppurtunity to meet and talk with a few of AZ's finest. Thanks to Timberly who knows EVERYONE and pointed a few people out so I could match screen names to faces who actually have REAL NAMES!! haha I'm hoping to get to some more Tiger events as they run a very well organized unbiased professional tour. I have find to time to practice more than 2 hours a week though.

I had to make a hasty exit after being hastily eliminated :(
I hate it when you think you're improving and then you lay some large eggs. I thought that stage passed, but evidently not!
Time to work on drills.
Good to see everyone there, though!
