Did I mention, The room will have all newly recovered tables! Thanks PoolGuppie! We love you too!

Just giving it a bump...
For the first time ever - we'll be running a second chance tournament on the bar-box tables on Sunday at this venue. If you haven't been to Hagerstown since the Munson family bought the place - you really should check it out. Lots of tables - all the bar boxes have been recovered recently and the 9 foots are being recovered as well - new lights, fresh face on the whole place!

Is the bar box tournament on Sunday only for those who played in the open division or can anyone play in it? Also, what is the format, entry fee, etc? Thanks.

I'm sorry to say I won't be able to attend this event.
I have a scheduling conflict with regional league playoffs. :(

Sorry we'll miss you that weekend Rich (you could still come by on Sunday)

billb -
The Sunday Bar Box will not be limited to players that played in Saturday's event (yes I realize the misuse of the "second chance" title). You will have to be a Tiger Tour member. Format & Entry Fee are mentioned in the thread - I've re-posted below. Hope to see you there!

SUNDAY SECOND CHANCE ($150 added)
Starts: Sunday 2 pm Sharp
Format: Bar Box Tables, Double Elimination, Races to 5 and 3
Entry Fee: $20 Entry

Ceci,
I have tried numerous times to email you, however, the email address is returned as unavailable. I noticed you have the schedule on the website and note that there are women's events - which are designated WPBA qualifiers? are they established yet?
Thanks,
9balllvr

Hi 9ballvr -

I do have dates in with the WPBA for requested qualifiers. However, the process involves providing scheduled dates for those spots to the WPBA, then getting the okay from them to make the events WBPA Qualifiers. I should have an e-mail back by early next week. Until then, I'm afraid I can't announce which ones will be Qualifiers. The WPBA is working very diligently at organizing the Regional Tours in an effort to maximize the number of qualifiers available to the players in coinciding regions.

I can tell you for certain this event, the season opener is not a scheduled qualifier.

Sorry about the e-mail address - I had it changed to my personal e-mail, but it keeps going back to the undeliverable address. I will get that fixed as soon as possible.
In the meantime - anyone can contact me directly at nineballcc@hotmail.com. Or PM me here on AZ. I login daily.

Thank you for your interest!
Ceci

Normally, my wife and I would be stopping in on Sunday, however, my league team has to play on Sunday. We got a bye for the Saturday round. :D
Hopefully, we will be stopping in at Rockville. If not there, definitely in Arnold.

Bump!
We've gotten a lot of calls and e-mails regarding pre-registration. Just to clarify, we do not have a limit on the number of players for the event, therefore, no need to sign up until the morning of the event!
Just make sure you're there before Noon for the open event on Saturday and 11am for the ladies on Sunday!

Bump

just a little bump to move up the ladder a little!!! unfortunately I won't be able to get there by noon due to some business commitments but I'll be spectating by the afternoon. Was just out at the room this evening and it's looking great. As Cece mentioned the Munson family has really been working hard to give the place a face-lift. The tables are playing great with the new blue 860 cloth. They have also installed a couple of the nice expensive plasma TVs, spruced up the kitchen etc... The bar boxes even have Simonis (sp?) cloth!!

Thanks Barrett! This is the final bump up! This should be a great event this weekend! A few new announcements and changes...great room, lots of fun, plenty of action!
Hope to see you all there!

How did it go? Who showed, who played well?
Congrats on your season opener, and good luck
for the rest of the year. Sorry we missed this one,
mrs.g

Hi All,

Wireless internet here in Hagerstown! I've published the charts so far at http://www.TigerPoolTour.com

113 players! Lots of matches and tough to keep up. We've got about 16 in the Open division left, 20 out of 25 in the Women's division left. A 38 player barbox event is underway as well.

I'll be updating the charts all afternoon and evening!
Andy

Josh Brothers won the barbox event coming from the 1-loss side.

Open is down to Shawn Putnam in the hot seat with BJ Ussery playing Danny Mullhollen III right now.

The women's event has Pamela Treadway in the hot seat with My-Hahn Lac coming over from the 1 loss side.

But the real cash winner was Clatterbuck. I hear he dealt some MAJOR blows out...
Matt, you is one bad dude!
