Tiger X shaft question.

When the first Tiger X shafts came out were they labeled with the word "Tiger" plus an " X" on the shaft or just an "X" ?

I have a shaft that has an "X" and a gold colored dot above the "X" but not the word "Tiger". It has the four pieces spliced together to make the length of the shaft like a Tiger.

It was sold to me at the 2011 DCC by one of the vendors as a Tiger X. I have offered it for sale as a Tiger X on AZ and eBay but it has been questioned on eBay because it doesn't say "Tiger" on the shaft.

I have ended the eBay auction and deleted the post on AZ because I don't want to misrepresent the item.

Thank you for any help with clarification.

I have an old X shaft, but really don't know if it's a "first edition". Forget exactly when I bought it. Guessing 2004 or 5.

Anyway it has the word "TIGER" running along the length of the shaft, near the joint, in open letters, the T closest to the joint.

There is a bold black X that partially runs under the G and the E.

The X doesn'r run the length of the shaft like in your pic. Instead the X is bold, runs like here on the screen.

That shaft was custom made from a Tiger X blank by Mike Gullyassy.
