I have been out of the loop on pricing for maybe a decade. What is the going rate for a Tim Padgett sneaky?

He ID’d the sneaky as one of his in an old AZB post of mine many years ago.

just a dufferin made into a two piece. very nice bar cue. couple hundred bucks max if dead straight..
unless someone is really after one of his cues you would have a hard time getting much over a 100.
my opinion.

Shaft is not from the blank, 1.5” ivory ferrule.

Sneaky, which almost none are,are all over the price range. To me it's a 100.00 stick but they sell for 400.00 + all the time.

I don't remember what I paid 35+ years ago but adding the rings and changing the pin doesn't make it a custom cue. It was born a Dufferin lol

If I had this and was trying to sell it, assuming it's super straight and there are no noticeable dings in the finish or shaft, I'd probably price it around $300 to gauge interest. If it sells immediately, great. If I have to entertain offers, so be it.

For the "it's just a Dufferin" crowd. It's a Dufferin donor/blank that's had a butt cap, a joint collar, a shaft collar, a pin, and an upgraded shaft added to it. People would be tripping over one another to buy that cue for $300 if Dennis Searing had so much as breathed on it.
