Hiya guys,

SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!

It's a gorgeous Tim Scruggs 4 pointer with ivory point and buttsleeve inlays.

Specs are as follows:

58"
18.6-19oz (depending on shaft used) Buttsection itself weighs 15oz
One shaft is at 12mm with ivory ferrule (weighs 4oz)
One shaft is at 13mm with ivory ferrule (weighs 3.6oz)
5/16x14 piloted stainless steel joint
Nickel silver trim rings at A and B
4 Ebony points into BEM with Ivory inlays in each point
Black with white spec Irish Linen Wrap
Ebony buttsleeve with ivory and ebony inlay work (kinda Tad-like sleeve)
Ivory trim ring at bottom of buttsleeve, near buttcap
White Delrin buttcap with "TS" Logo

I saw 2 VERY VERY minor surface blemishes on the cue. One on the buttsleeve, and one on one of the ebony points. Aside from that, the cue is in really fantastic shape. The 12mm shaft seems to have a very slight taper roll to it...but the tip and joint collar stay flat. The rollout is minimal, and does not affect play. The full 13mm shaft is straight and great.

The Engels case is a hard tubed 1x2 case (Brunswick style with removeable lid and latch system for closure). The case is a VERY STRONG 85+ % case. Some minor scuffs and such, but nothing major at all. It is black leather with tooling at the top and bottom. Inside cloth is grey. "Engles" label on inside of case, and inside of lid...as well as on the bottom of the case.

This is a killer cue/case combo...and is sure to make the new owner very happy.

Listed at $1750, or best offer. PM me with any questions or offers you may have to throw out there. Check out the pics!

Many thanks, guys.

Bump bump for the cue/case combo.

If you don't like the price, hit me up with an offer. I'm a reasonable guy, and I'd like to sell my cues relatively soon!!!

All due respect, sir...but 1750 for the cue and case combo is a fair deal...and I'm willing to haggle some on the price....but I WILL NOT robbed on it...and shaving 650 bucks off my asking price is NOT haggling....that's trying to steal it.

If you're interested in it, sincerely, then we can talk...and we can definitely meet in the middle somewhere....but please don't insult me on an open forum. I've never gouged a price in my life...and I never will. I only ask for the same fair treatment in return.

Kind regards,

Rat

I apologize with the LOW offer on the Open forum, I'm not interested in the case just the cue , it's a nice TS cue and i'm not looking to rob you, again I apologize

Steven,

Very much accepted, sir...and appreciated as well.

Seriously...if you're interested in just the cue...perhaps we can work something out...as I've had a few folks tell me they're interested in just the case.

Drop me a PM, if you're so inclined.

My best to ya,

Mark (Rat)

Very nice cue...

I also happen to know this is a VERY sweet cue, and it plays super. It may not have any veneers, but it has a ton of ivory. Figure the 4 inlays in the points, 8 small diamonds in the butt, then 4 large ivory ovals inside 4 even larger ivory ovals in the butt....my math says around 20 or so total inlays, and most are of the large type. Then you throw in the case...hell of a deal, Mark!!

Updates.......

Thanks, Joe!

Okay folks....plenty of people have asked about either the case or the cue by itself.....so I'll break it down.

Cue is for sale, alone, for 1550 shipped

Case is for sale, alone, for 250 shipped

Hit me up with a PM if you'd like to talk about either one!!!

Be good, ya'll

Mark

CUE AND CASE HAVE BOTH BEEN SOLD!!!

THAT WAS IT, YA'LL.....MY LAST CUE AND CASE FOR SALE.

IT'S KINDA SAD...BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I'M EXCITED TO GET BACK INTO THE GAME UPON MY RETURN.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT MADE THE SALES POSSIBLE...

I'LL KEEP FLOATING AROUND THE FORUMS, JUST TO KEEP SHARP.....AND KNOW THAT COME NEXT SPRING, I'LL BE ON THE HUNT TO BUILD A NICE COLLECTION AGAIN!!

Be good, ya'll.

I for one, will miss Rat's wheeling and dealing on AZ Billiards! I have had the pleasure of dealing with him on several cues since he's been on board. You'd have a hell of a time finding anyone more trustworthy or genuine to deal with. I know it'll only be a matter of time before he's "back in the saddle" and I plan on dealing with him again in the near future. I expect him to stop in and visit us again anytime he gets the chance. I've got a lot of respect for guys in the military service right now. You're doing us proud! Keep in touch, Mark! It's been a pleasure, pal...

Steve,

Very kind words, sir....and I'd like to mirror those right back at ya! Since I joined the forums, we have done so many deals, they're starting to run together.....but each one, I know for sure, was perfect.

There are a TON of good folks here...and I've made quite a few friends....and I look forward to continued dealings with 'em all (plus some new ones, I'm sure)!!!

I'll definitely be around the forums...and I'll keep posting from time to time....just to make sure that folks know I'm around...and window shopping for "THE ONE" (......meaning: THE TEN!!!) :)

Mark,

We will certainly miss you around here, but I, for one, fully understand the importance of the job that you are about to take on. Keep yourself out of harm's way and get back here next spring to buy all my cues.:D
