Here's a couple of photos of my Tim Scuggs cue.....my favorite player (3/8x10 flat face ivory joint) & ivory ferrules, Kamui Black tips.
This is really just a sweetheart of a cue to play with and my other player is a Paul Mottey.

I love the green veneers, makes me think of money. I think it's a great looking cue. Thanks for the peek.

Chris:wink:

The veneers are actually purple and green which are definitely not veneer colors I'd ever have requested.
Yet after seeing the cue in person, and especially after test playing the cue for 2-3 racks, I had to own this cue.
It is the sweetest hitting cue I ever played with but I'm counting on the cue being made right now to assume that crown.
I hope it does and am keeping my fingers crossed......approx. 90 days or so and counting down to find out.

I was going to ask about the year built but in your signature line it says 2006.

I often look at cues that have different veneer combinations that I would never think of, sometimes they work, and sometimes they dont.

Those work.

Ken

You are really posting up some nice cues there Bava.
I love this Scruggs
Keep up the good work

Thanks for the kind remarks.......and always great to hear from you Nick.

And Ken.....I'd never have asked for those veneers. I couldn't have imagined
that purp & green would combo.....same thing goes for the butt sleeve with ivory
and abalone inlays that have a different sheen and lustre than the ivory.

Cuesblues.....I know I'm setting myself up for a fall by posting these cues.
I hope I'm not jinxing myself because I am having a cue built right now that
I designed and my initial reaction to seeing the first veneer photos was
"Uh oh, I think I screwed this up big time."

However, after allowing for what's still is left to be done and studying the
veneer photos more closely, my spirits are again raised. I was originally
hoping for the golden fleece of pool cues but down deep, I'll actually be
pleased if it just turns out as nice the cues in the photos I've posted. The
veneer photos are in the Gallery under "Cue in Progress Photos." Prior to
taking a peek, let me admit the design will be a bit colorful to say the least.

There's no jinxing in cue design>
Don't worry about it, besides it's not your call on the "screwed this up" part, we'll be the judge.

Jeez.....you know you're right about that.....and after reading your last post,
well, that pretty much sums it all up.......thanks for getting straight to the point.
