Early TS sneaky pete. Anyone can tell me about the black dots underneath the finish at the points where the dark and light woods are splice on this true, early sneaky pete mad by Tim. Cannot find another like it anywhere on the internet. Are these some type of pin or dowel to assist the spice? Anybody else have one like this?,,,from any cue maker? Thanks. Will continue to try to upload a photo as I have not been successful so far.

They're gaps between the two woods.
They were just cut-down house cues.
So, they were not perfect.

Thanks for the info. That is what I suspected but have not been able to find another one like it. I gave the same description to Bob Frey and he did not understand what I was talking about. Sent him a photo but have not heard back from him. The cue is perfectly straight and drive like a new Corvette.
