Time for new pool balls - Aramith Tournament Pro-Cup or Brunswick Centennial

The Aramith balls that came with our table are now over 32 years old. They are in good condition but some yellowing is noticeable. The table is an 8-foot "oversized" Steepleton Dorsey with new Simonis 860HR Tournament Blue cloth.

I am wanting to stay with the standard colors (purple 4 and 12, orange 5 and 13, dark brown 7 and 15).

I'm trying to decide between the Aramith Tournament Pro-Cup and the Brunswick Centennial balls. Both are made by Sulac SA. There are some cosmetic/design differences between the two but I am unsure if both are made using the same Aramith Duramith technology.

For those that know, are the balls the same minus the cosmetic details??

I did a search on the subject but looks like the threads were 4-6 years old.

Thanks

They are the same balls just different font and inlays.

Have you considered Dynaspheres? IMO, they are just as good, if not better than the offerings from Aramith and they make a set with traditional colors..

They are the same ball.. just different looks. I have multiple sets of balls but always seem to go back to the centennials . I just love the classic look.

I am thinking about buying a set Dynasphere Palladium from Fort Worth Billiards Superstore.
I’ve been having trouble finding these balls in the USA markets and Ft Worth has a price is good.
Has anyone dealt with Ft Worth ? Are they reputable?

I do really like the look of the Centennials!!

Looked at the Dynaspheres but I like the look of the Aramith's and the Brunswicks better.

I have both of these sets. I prefer shooting with the Aramith Tournaments over the Centennials, but you can't go wrong with either set.

Never ordered from them, but they're the "official table distributer [sic]" for Ultimate Pool USA, and SVB wears a sponsor patch from them.

Ordered Dynasphere Vanadiums from them on Sunday night. Monday morning I received my tracking number. Yesterday UPS says they'll be here Thursday.

I have a set of the Tournament Pro balls, traditional colors not the TV colors. I find the duramith balls to be dark. I prefer the Super Aramith Pro set. Colors are brighter.

I did it, $299 all in, they look great.

I don't think Centennials are Duramith. Fairly sure Aramith only uses it on its Tournament and Black line.

In 2025, I would not buy a ball set unless it was the latest resin. Either Duramith if you want Aramith, or any of the Dynasphere balls.

I don't think the latest resin matters all that much on a home table.

The OP's set latest resin was developed at least 32 years ago and they have lasted 32 years and are still in good condition.

How many spans that long do any of us have left?
