Old growth maple is wood that has been recovered from Superior and many years old. Most people think it has a different feel than regular maple shafts. The wood seems to have a more dense feel, this shaft weighs 3.5 oz. and is 12.75 mm at the tip. The shaft is straight and rolls good and i think is a Keith Josey but not 100%, it appears to have some type of layered tip and radial joint. I can't guarantee the tip because the old eyes aren't what they used to be :frown:
