can you tell me a little bit more about this .
What's the difference with a normal laminated shaft ?
How can you compare it with the low deflection shafts , let's say with a Z2-shaft ? I'm playing with a Z2 for the moment !

Thanks ,

Christoph

Timeless Timber shafts are not marketed as low deflection, and they are also not laminated. They sell "lake wood" or timber that has been recovered from the bottom of creeks and rivers, after being submerged there for many years. You can read more about their products on their web site. They used to have a section specifically about their pool cue shafts, but I don't see it now, so maybe they're not in that business any more. Either way, you can call them and find out more if you wish.

If you do a search on the forum, you can find out what players have said about their playing characteristics. I have some lake wood shaft blanks, but have yet to turn them into shafts yet.
