Here is a gruop shot of cues that reflect Tim Scruggs's,Bob Frey's and Mike Cochran's cues over their careers.
The Joss was built when Timi and Bob were building cues at Joss Custom Cues around 1973. The stained Tim Scruggs was built while Timi and Bobby were together up until 1984.
The Frey Titlist is modern. The Ivory Joint Scruggs Custom Cues are examples cue cues built while Mike Cochran was with Tim Scruggs Custom Cues. And the Mike Cochran Cues are examples of Michael's work.
What a history behind this sweet group of veneer cues!

In there

Nick, nice pics of some cool history. Where did Tony and Bill fit in here

Truth be known the MC Hoppe is basicly a Spider cue with a flat face joint and tiny ferrals. Mike and Tony had planed to collaberate with their cues with Michael eventually moving into Tony's shop building Custom Cues together. They were very good friends and respected each other's talent and honesty greatly.
Damn it man that is kind of inside information. But it is the truth.
Mike Cochran told me," Tony Sciannella could spot any human being the 7 when it came to building cues. And no one on the planet could exicute Tony's inlay work." He was teaching Mike how to exicute layered silver inlay work. They were like brothers.
Educated comment there Mr Steve!
Bill was a partner in name only and Timi owed Bill greatly for teaching him run a successful business model. Bill never could index a cue without a Panograph.
