Anyone know what tip, comes in lomax jump cue and where I can get one? I had Steve make me a jump cue and shortly after having it I put a white diamond tip on it. It doesn't jump as good now as it did before. Ever other jump cue I've had was always better with the white diamond. Not the lomax though. Tried asking Steve but he never replied back to me. Anyone know? Thanks.

All of his that I have seen were a one piece phenolic tip/ferrule combo. Personally I would not put a white diamond on a jump cue. Plain phenolic should do it. Alternatively, I have had *excellent* experiences using a Hammerhead tip for jumping. I have a Jacoby jump cue which I believe is as good or better than anything out there. I put a Hammerhead on a friends Jacoby and the thing was ridiculous. Full ball a chalk away was laughably easy. Great control too. Maybe give that a try.

Yeah, the Lomax I had used a one piece tip/ferrule. Not sure what the material was exactly though.

My Lomax break cue has a Samsara hard leather tip. I put a jump handle on the shaft and it jumps easily....
