Tip Profile: Show Your Shizz

My personal cue, Gradient tip, with dime contour. This one is played about 3 months.

Freshly-installed Triangle, also dime contour.

I think everyone that posted a picture has at least double on their tip than what I have on mine as a brand new install. I like to cut a new tip in half and when its finished have about 2mm on the sides then the dome.

I have several customers who request the same. They don't like a large change going from old to new.

Interesting ... looks identical to the Talisman.

well, I have tried most of the popular tips out there, Kamui, G2, Zan etc and Tad I like the most.

this tip was actually installed on a fatter shaft, I played a while with it and changed to a thinner shaft, I removed the tip and installed on the thin shaft. so it has been with me for almost a year.

I have another Tad tip on another cue and just tried it out next week, it required no getting used to, performed right away.

If anyone wants a solid and rather hard hit, then Tad is a must to try imo. it performs right after installation and very consistent over time.

Here's what I use most of the time. I think if you leave a tip alone and it's a medium or soft, they seem to go to somewhere between a nickle/dime radius. Might not be true for a hard tip though.
