Tippad question

Do you first glue the tippad on the ferrule and then the tip on the tippad?
Or do you glue the tip on the pad and then on the ferrule and why?

If using a lathe,face ferrule glue on pad,face pad glue on tip.This is how I do it and never have had 1 fail.Make sure your tip is sanded flat as well.

I always glue the tip & pad together & then glue that assembly to the ferrule...JER
