Hello all,

I have been playing with Moori tips for the last few years now. I'm looking for what is best for my game and will to try new things. I would like to know what you guys play with? What kind of tip and ferrel combo? I personally like moori soft with ivory ferrels and the fiber pad.

Thanks, John

I play with Moori III soft tips on predator shafts on my Paul Mottey cue. I do cue repairs (mostly tips & ferrules) and i've been able to try many different types of tips and ferrule combinations during the past few years. I've decided that I like the Moori III soft tip the best and i've been very happy playing with these tips on my cues.

Rhino Fore-Skin Tips Can't Be Beat.

Oh sure, at $350 they might seem like rip-off but I can assure you they are cleanly cut-off & worth every penny - Just ask the Rhino.

TY & GL

Ps - My second choice is a Moori ( soft)

A good Moori Medium III can't be beat, IMO. I love the way melamine ferrules play but am also ok with ivory and moose antler ferrules.

I assume moose antler has the same feel at ivory being that is bone? Would that be correct? I play with a Capone custom, no ivory. Im thinking bout having him make me an ivory furrel saft. Is there anyone who has one and know what they play like?

Thanks guys!
