There have been numerous threads on the various sections of AZ regarding Titleist conversions. How many of you that own these use them as your main(or one of your main) playing cues?Just curious if most are played or primarily regarded as collectors? Thanks,Mike S.

I play with mine ... I have them as a collection but that doesn't stop me from playing with it.

Some of them plays jams up!!!! I had a local cuemaker convert one for me and it has thinner joint, less than .8. I thought it would be whippy cue but no .. it plays good!!!

I've seen Ermund Bullard play with a Bill Schick Titlist as his everyday player. He's one hell of a players as well.

I Love Em!

I had been playing with a Kikel cue since 1999. I purchased a Jim Buss Titlist fron Mystic Cue Fan here and now use it as my main playing cue. I think so much of them that I now own three. A Mike Webb, Andy Gilbert and the Buss. I like them all and have a fourth on the way. I guess I am hooked. I can only see the value going up as there are only so many.

I have one conversion (Rauenzahn) and two full Titlist cues for later conversion (after a few quick passes on the lathe, one even turned out to be purple heart). They're all for collecting purposes, and don't even see the sun for months (or years) at a time...

Mainly for Collection

Hey there, I've got two....a Scruggs and a Whisler. Both cues play very well; but, I rarely get them out of their cases -- I'm generally playing in bars/taverns and, I just don't feel real comfortable playing with this nice of a cue in this type of environment

I have a 1941-45 Titlist conversion by Jerry Rauenzahn, and it was designed to be my playing cue, and was until recently. I picked a very old Titlist for him to convert, thinking the old wood would be better seasoned. I don't know if that's true, but it plays great. It was my everyday player until I moved to Seattle - like Ken, cue is too flashy for where I play.
