For sale is a Titlist conversion with 2 shafts. Some of the most stunning and vibrant veneers I've ever seen on a conversion. It took nearly 2 years of searching to find one this nice. The points on this cue should bee seen to be appreciated, points are very even, relatively short, as the cue is still in original full splice form. I've found full splice cues play better (in my moderate skill) than segmented cues. My player is a full splice Prather blank finished by Sly, backup is Scruggs sneaky. This was my primary player for about 8 years until I picked up my Sly.
In an attempt to try to identify the cue I had some measurements taken (see below) and sent to a few cuemakers. Even had X-rays taken of the cue, which shows the butt as still a full splice. Interesting how the Ivory seems to "glow" on the X-rays.
Please note, each shaft has a slight roll, and when assembled there is a small amount of lift at the joint. Doesn't affect playability, as it was far and away my favorite of the four cues I own. Never really rolled it on the table, etc, as it was at home in my hands pocketing balls. I have played exclusively with the non ivory shaft, and the ivory shaft is very clean, the other is still very smooth with a little bluing. Both approximately 12mm. My playing shaft was due for a new tip soon, and I figured since it was time to part with it, better to let the new owner install a tip of his/her choice.
