Here are pictures of an Old Brunswick, that I had converted from a one piece...It had a MOP wedge back end... This old Brunswick is probably about 90 yo...
This is an EBONY pointer.... A Pre-Titlist.....New..
NY cuemaker Tom Migliore (TNS cues) did the fantastic conversion..
Ivory Joint, Ivory Ring, 2 shafts Ivory ferrules, cortland Linen.. 19.5

Mike Webb saw this cue and said it was one of the nicest he's seen..

Best

It was his 200th cue. So I know that there was no way the same cue sold for 3500.00. Which is why I asked the question I did and got the exact answer I expected. Which in lamens terms, is one could not have possibly been forsale so there is no gage in which to measure.

A mint titlist Barry Szamboti, never played with sold for 3,500.00 at the 2005 Glass City open. Not number 200. In my last post I didn't say the 200th.

But in my question, it was very clear. And you clearly, answered my question.

i never made a loss buying a Barry Szam b4, and i am sure Joe and Mark never did.

200th means its the 200 cue barry made. there is 100 and some other milestone ...

think mark prob owns all of them..

No, he don't own them all.. he sold 100, and 400 and had 300 more or less on consignment.

Its the economics

just an example. i bought a B. Szam off a Taiwan dealer in late 2003. its the leftmost cue in the pics for USD3250. Sold it for 3800 in mid 2004. it changed hands 4 times i heard from Chady since then, eventually now being owned by a big time cue collector in Taiwan. The last time it went for 4800USD.
Thats how dramatic the cue market is. if u never keep track for the last 4 years u be amazed how much the Searings n Szambotis n SW prices has taken off..

new findings-Bushka

The cue I posted pics of was not a Balabushka,I sent it to Bill Schick. He tells the shafts might very well be Gearge's and probably are so I wil be selling them soon somewhere around 500 each with a note from Bill. They are not dead straight but very playable and both weigh around 4.5 Ozs with ivory ferrels.Thank you Nick Also I don't think I will have the stick back till next week! He also told me whoever made the butt was a hell of a cue maker that it was really a great conversion and they took alot of time and trouble to make it the way it did. I thought it hit like my old bushka and now I know why. With bushka shafts in short supply I thought the price was in line with market demands. What is funny is I know a gambler that showed me a balabushka years ago with 5 shafts and come to find out he sold it with 2 of them. Nick
