To all the babies that complained in the tristate stop at Cliffton.

I´m the infamous Abby Liz (Jose Liz Domeneche as it´s stated in the tristate). I came in Castle Billiards to practice on Monday and the first thing I heard from Mr. Trobiano is “You made me look bad, everybody is crying and mad at me because you won the tourney” I though he was jokin, but no, I come in the web and find everybody is complaining about the new guy who robbed the tourney.

First of all, I know no shit about ranking and level of playing, I don´t live in the states, I saw the tour on the net and wanted to play in my vacation time in here, I took all the steps, filled out my application paid my fees and got rated as a D+ player. I asked the guy to rate me higher and he put me as a C player. When I played at Steinway the week before and got beated by Debra Pritchett (D Player) and Chris DeCarpio (C) nobody said a word. I spent the whole week shotting at Castle Billiards 9 hours daily non stop, come to Cliffton, got lucky and win and all the kids are crying that I´m Denis Orcollo on disguise.

C´mon guys, crucify me, I really don´t care, rate me as an Open/Pro, I´ll still play and will play to win because I like to compete, and I like to shoot pool. I DON´T CRY when somebody beats me, I just take my ass to the practice room and try to get better. If I have to play against SVB, or Orcollo even, I will play and will give my best. I won´t be coming to the net to complain about how they robbed me. FYI this robber started shooting pool on nov 2010 at age 30, I have a 10 hours daily job, a wife, and two nephews I´m raising, so that´s how much time I have to play.

I really want to thank all the people that have helped me here in the states, Andrew Cleary, Todd Fleitman, John Trobiano, Eddy, Castle Billiards, and a special mention to Scott Simonetti because everytime he gives an advice to a player on how to shoot a shot I´m with my ears “mode on” and take that advice for myself.

Thanks to all the haters too, you´re the inspiring spark that keeps me going.
Everybody wants the money, but nobody wants to do the job.

that's the pool world for you. I entered a b tournament once and everybody said I played too good to be in a b tournament.
I came in 3rd and they still complained.

Nice job on the win! It's like M-Man said, you'll always have people complaining. As for his 3rd place win, maybe next time. ;)

I used to travel on business quite a bit and I would take my cues with me. I would often play in cheap tournament or play in the evenings. Much more fun than sitting in a hotel room watching HBO..:boring2:

I have found most of the times that if it is a handicapped local tournament, they don't want some guy from out of town to win anything. Im awful but they would handicap me so high I felt like Secretariat....

Like some guy is going to fly in to win $50-100 local tournament... Hell after winning my first match, I have had them raise my handicap, and then have some local nits watch me play the next match...(like they are going to say "lower his handicap"?)

LOL, nits.
